snow day

I know, I know.
I don't write here a whole lot.
But, hey, go see Joke. He hasn't written in years. He's returned to his blog as have lots of others, sort of fleeing facebook and twitter to escape the kind of blather that's taking over right now.  I'm not passing judgement, mind, I'm just saying.

Anyway. We're snowed in at my house and I've just had Irish steel-cut oats and I'm feeling warm and cozy.

Links?
I've got 'em.

It's been a while since I've cried watching a Hallmark commercial.

And, while we're feeling good about people...this teacher makes my heart swell.

I have a great backpack (I need a backpack from time to time) for winter but I'm eyeing this one for warmer weather.

Middle would love this show. Note to me: tell Middle about this series.

I could move right in.

Isn't this a nice fashion story to see?

That house!
I've faded offline, mostly because I'm so speechless. But things have occurred here that deserve telling, so I need to get back in the saddle again.
It's so cool how you are in tune with your sons' interests.
