I had a hacking cough; it was apparently some sort of pneumonia. The antibiotics helped, but then screwed up my GI tract and I got sick for a month. Sometimes, ya can't win.
As a whooping cough veteran (yes, all my children are immunised) I am not convinced. The longer you've been coughing before the test the less reliable the test result is.
Regardless of diagnosis, you feel like shite and should be taking yourself to bed or at least the lounge to watch way too much tele.
I am glad... Why is it what makes one part of you feel better always makes another part feel worse? Antibiotics always do a number on my stomach too...
