packing

Everybody's talking about packing.
I've got two little trips coming up: a romantic weekend away with K and a girl's weekend in Chicago.

I saw this great pin by Suse, from A Pair and a Spare.

This part is trickier for me as I don't have a color palette.

Rationalise shoes is right! I've been known to pack five pairs for a three day trip, and I've rationalised it.

Hold the hat.

Basically, I can skip step 3.

Anyway, it's a great post and I'm always happy to discover a blog I wasn't aware of.
Pinterest. I'll tell you, it's fascinating.

Ok, just the name - a pair and a spare - is making my neck itch. I clicked through, I have NO idea why, but the whole thing makes me rather antsy to inflict pain on someone else.

How unusual.

But the two weekends away? I'm digging that big time.

Leather shorts? Seriously?

I'm on board until she gets to the advice about packing a Booker Prize winner (too many words) and a great attitude (too risky)but I know that you will have no problems with these vital items.

That's exactly what I thought when I read your post name.
Gee, everybody is packing.

I need a color palate.

This was cute. I am going to LA with my little one for a long weekend (starting tomorrow! am beside myself with excitement!) and just finished gathering outfits and rationalizing shoes last night. It was so much fun.

I think a pair and a spare is very cute.

I know exactly what you mean about skipping step 3! My color palette: black, grey, and white. I'll toss on some navy if I'm feeling really colorful.

I must say when I pinned that pin I thought, that's my entire wardrobe. I mean, she tells you to pack so much that you may as well throw in everything you own. Well, everything I own, anyway.

A romantic w'end away with K! Sounds lovely.
