weekend wrap up
What did I do this weekend?
Thrift shopped with mom.
Attended a wedding party.
Lazed on the beach.
Had two fabulous dinners.
Pictures? Why, yes.
I'm always kind of happy to see my feet after so many months.
My pal at Chanel sent me some beautiful nail polishes. This is Black Pearl.
There's my mom in the most massive thrift shop I've ever seen.
Huge doesn't begin to describe it. Huge, well-lit, clean, astoundingly well organized is getting close.
What did I buy/spend?
Four dresses and a top. $25.00.
Nope, I can't believe it either.
Here's something else I can't quite believe...
this is the packaging that some hair clips came in.
It's a "pleasure to be a woman?" Really, hair clip company? Why not something like: hey! here are some funky, cheap little hair clips which you will undoubtedly leave in all the pockets of all your clothing within the first week you own them?
Another interesting tag. Apparently, ce vétement must not be exposed to direct sunlight. Like a vampire, I guess. But a dress.
Nice weather for a scooter ride or a morning at the beach...
We had our first annual Summer Dip last night.

Funny, the first thought I had was "wow, I like her toenails."
And that burger looked delish. I'm sorely tempted to run to the store for some ground beef, ridged potato chips and dip makings, though I don't know if I'd do your Summer Dip with the cottage cheese.
I'm partial to onion or ranch dip made with equal parts lite sour cream and nonfat plain yogurt, myself. It reduces the calories & fat...and guilt.
But either way, I'm so happy summer is here with fresh strawberries, blueberries and apricots. I miss the Atlantic, though.
And I like your mom!
In the South tea does not come from some powdered concoction. It comes from big tea bags and hot water and sugar. Anything else ain't tea.
