it's nearly Friday

It's much quieter in my office this week - and at home too.
None of the cars have been hit, K is doing a few 20-hour days downtown, and Youngest only goes in for his exams. At work there are no surprise parties and we are winding our way into summer with people away and no big plans.
I'm still struggling with my hair (and my health) but I think I'm making headway in both areas.
Yesterday, though, one of my beloved sons told me I looked like


a flight attendant, and it wasn't my outfit, it was my hair.
I looked at myself upon arriving at the office and though I looked more like





Paula Deen. Bless her heart. I could never really look like her as I am not so smiley. In fact, I was looking at some pictures that K uploaded from Holland and he's right (as usual, dear) when he says I smirk a lot. Smirky.
I would like to have my hair more like




Reese Witherspoon, but shorter. Just below chin length. And gray. Surely I will become impatient and bored before it can get that long.

Changing the subject: I had forgotten all about This is Indexed.
