Thank you – I'll ask him to sign on Monday.

FYI – I'm not sure I'll last the whole day (I feel like I should tell someone) as my allergies are awful and I am pretty miserable.

Isn't that the nicest thing?
I went home and tried to sleep it off but, damn, Claritin AND Sudafed and I am still so blocked up.
I'm so blocked up that when I did my neti-pot-thing the water came out MY EYES.

School is almost done for Youngest, though he does have lots of Very Important Exams. I mention this by way of saying that he is quite well, my Youngest, and is shaping up to be a great guy. (We had a bit of an adolescent period there for a while but I think it's passing.) (What? Do I never mention when we have issues with the children? Did you assume - as well you should - that they are perfect in every way?)

thankscrop

Fabulous thank you card photoshopped up by me.
I'm telling you, it's all in the cropping. We may un-crop a bit for family.

On a whim I ordered six (6!) dresses from AllSaints. You know, the thing about AllSaints is: one cannot possibly tell what the clothing looks like on people whilst perusing the website. It's not much easier in the store (darkdarkdark). So, yeah. Six dresses arrived and I spent a very long time trying them on. In fact, K had to assist me as there were some that were INSCRUTABLE. I could not find armholes!
I could not determine back from front. Some had things HANGING OFF THEM. I returned four.
I kept two. (Excellent math skills, eh?)

dress1

Dress one. A flouncy party dress. To be worn at a party. Which I am attending. In June. To celebrate the marriage of a dear office friend. (I'm killing myself with the periods.)
What does it really look like?

Dress two: with things hanging off it.

dress2

I added the belt. And the dirty mirror.

As you can see, the photos from the website aren't especially helpful.

I've downloaded these photos too (or is it uploaded?).
No idea.

Was it the haircut? The ink? I dunno.

My office bookshelves were featured in my office blog. Nope. Not handing out the addy on that. Do your own detective work, if you must. I'm still conflicted.

I am head-over-heels for this tea...

...am not supposed to HAVE tea (or alcohol) with my not-serious-but-draining health condition but surely this tea cannot offend!

Finally, there's these

I saw those shoes on a website somewhere. I am hoping they will be massively marked down if/when we make it to the States at the end of the year.

They are the most beautiful shoes I have seen in a very long time.

I love the shoes.

We are passing around a cold at our house. The big symptom is staying up all night coughing. And keeping up your partner. I've gone beyond the keeping DH up and have passed into being waked up by him hacking. Bleh.

Hope you feel better.

Don't you love when someone sends you home? My boss did the same a couple of weeks with me, when I caught a cold. I was too stuborn to leave.... I hate to admit, I am not always that nice with my team :(

Love those shoes.
Love them!
And yes your children come across as peaceful, creative, witty young men who are free from the curses of hormone-related mood swings but I think it is always wonderful to see children through their mother's eyes.

I feel like a total dork for commenting re this, but Sudafed stuffs you up more (cements it all in there) and Mucinex clears ya out. Took me years of sinus infections to figure this out. FWIW, YMMV, etc. etc. Hope you're feeling better soon.

So glad I'm not the only one who has had trouble putting on clothes at All Saints. I had to ask for help getting dressed from a sales clerk when Susie Sunshine and I headed over to check out the wall of vintage sewing machines.

Am also reconsidering trying a neti pot now that I know the fluid could come out of my eyes. Gah!

Oh, you poor woman. My B suffers from spring allergies so I know the stuffy, teary, misery of it.
I like the first dress and the shoes. I wish I had the nerve to order so many things to try on at home. You are brave.
And crop well.

It's always the shoes! Love those shoes. This isn't the first time I have fallen deeply in love with shoes that you post on here. Fabulous.

Feel better.

Oh....and love the bookshelf too. Do you think that would work at home (you said it was office shelves, no?)?

And I don't want work blog disclosure, dear bb. I like to think that there is a real life Edna Mole out there wandering around Tuvalu, working in a publishing house and answering to the the code name of Blackbird all while wear fabulous shoes. I don't think I'd cope if you had an actual first name!

ps I do need shoe disclosure though. Where did you find those beauties?

well I did my sleuthing and totally found you. But feel too weird saying anything over there, for fear of 'outing' you... or some such.

Those dresses are divine.

Those shoes! Finally you have moved on from your orthotic obsession! These are most lovely.

I can only imagine your boys being brilliant and good.

Love those shoes! Want them! They take me back to my childhood when I would beg for ballet flats from the JCPenney catalog. (We lived in Germany--couldn't even ORDER those shoes if we could've afforded them!)

Hope you are feeling better by the time you see this comment.
