Eddie Izzard does a wonderful bit about Pliny the Younger, writing a letter to his dad from Vesuvius... Dear Dad, Get me outta here! Tell Mr. Dog to send ships..." Trust me on this one.
I don't think of black chairs, I think of that gorgeous, blue light fixture!
I am coveting a pair of Plenty by Tracy Reese wingtips that I saw at Nordstrom. They are fetching, and have a wee little heel.
Also, the All Saints store here is officially open. Sewing machines galore in the windows. I was actually slightly disappointed...I guess I thought they'd mix it up.

Tell the truth now, you found the salt pig after Coffee Lady blogged about the porridge bowl, didn't you? I lurve those Word ceramics. If I were not in a de-acquisition mode right now -- and possibly forever -- I'd be whipping out the Visa card.
Yes, why salt pig. Lost there :/ But love it! LOVE IT!
And ditto what Paola said.
I think I was in the same store as jbhat. A million sewing machines in the display window and more in the middle of the store that went all the way up to the ceiling. On Lincoln.

I like the salt pig. Now I'm off to Google and find out why it's called a pig.
