Against my better judgement I watched $...! My Dad Says.
I'll admit, I was pretty sure it could never be as funny as the twitter feed it was built on.
How could it be?
140 spontaneous characters. ("Alright, settle down, you didn't cure polio.")
Hard to believe it could translate to funny on television.
But they actually built characters around 140 characters on twitter.
Murder was condoned!
The whole Anniston vs. Jolie thing? Pretty good.
The running hot dog joke? Not bad.
"Dad, it was one article. It's not like I'm going to make a whole career out of things you say."
Great closing line.
