My Favorite Weather:
TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT...
... PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...PREPARATIONS SHOULD BE MADE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... BEFORE CONDITIONS DETERIORATE. KEEP INFORMED WHILE LISTENING FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS. SECURE LOOSE OUTDOOR OBJECTS WHICH CAN BE BLOWN AROUND.

... PROBABILITY OF TROPICAL STORM/HURRICANE CONDITIONS... THE CHANCE FOR TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS AT THIS TIME IS 41 PERCENT. THIS REPRESENTS A GENERAL STEADY TREND SINCE THE LAST FORECAST.

... WINDS... THERE IS A POSSIBILITY FOR TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS. SINCE THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY... CLOSELY MONITOR THE FORECAST FOR ANY SIGNIFICANT CHANGES.

... STORM SURGE AND STORM TIDE... AS THE HURRICANE MAKES ITS CLOSEST APPROACH TO THE COAST... THERE IS AN INCREASING CHANCE FOR COMBINED STORM SURGE AND ASTRONOMICAL TIDE WATERS TO CAUSE MINOR COASTAL FLOOD INUNDATION.

THE LOCATIONS MOST LIKELY TO REALIZE MINOR COASTAL FLOODING INCLUDE THE SHORELINES

... COASTAL HAZARDS... LARGE WAVES FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND WILL CAUSE SUBSTANTIAL BEACH EROSION... WITH WASHOVERS POSSIBLE ALONG OCEAN FACING SHORELINES.

... RIP CURRENTS... INCREASINGLY HIGH SURF AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ON THE OCEAN WILL DEVELOP TODAY INTO FRIDAY... WITH SURF CONDITIONS REMAINING DANGEROUS INTO THE WEEKEND.

My Favorite Television Shows:

But summer is over! They are headed for the attic.

Looking forward to: boots, wearing a scarf, shutting off the air conditioning.

I have conceded that it's nearly fall. I actually promised Team Testosterone we could "decorate" for Halloween next weekend. That's the earliest ever.
I do like your shoes.

You are going to love tomorrow then! I am still hoping against hope that there will be a change. In all the time I have lived at the beach, I have never been afraid of a storm. That is, until the one we had this spring. You can’t imagine how high the waves were. The wind was howling throughout my house, and every window was rattling. Our 300lb smoker skated across our deck. I felt like any moment I would have been headed to Oz!

Fortunately Sunday and Monday look good. Don’t back up your shoes too soon. There are still some great beach days left!

Mmmmm, House. I do love him.

We aren't going to get any interesting weather up here in the Pioneer Valley. Hmph.

Thanks! Now I'm going to have that tune on my mind for days. How bad is this, Gladys Knight and the Pips was the first 8 track tape I ever bought. Yeah, I'm that old. Judging by the date on it and the folds in it I'd say you had that stored away for a long time.
I gave up on House a long time ago. I can't stand the way he treats people. I do, however, strongly recomend DOC MARTIN if you want a GREAT medical show.
In my opinion - better than any medical show made here in the US of A. You can watch it at HULU.com or Netflix has it(where you can also watch it online or get the disks)
Expecting a bit of rain are you?
Is Youngest begging for a trip to the beach to try out some Earl-sized waves?

It's funny seeing Hugh Laurie all grizzly and serious. Just this morning the kids were watching him in 101 Dalmations.
