Oh my goodness!!! love it. Comes just as I am reflecting on how much I don't like the color in my bathroom, which would be like painting one tiny bit of what you've accomplished here. Paint envy is striking up above the gwb. It is going to be SOOO worth it when you're done.
OMG I am with Poppy! You are EXPOSED! And bless you little heart for going through all of that! We need to paint our exterior, woudl you like to do it in lieu of a painter??? Can't wait to be back and sit at that table with you again, eating, drinking and laughing with you all.
The chair rail, the arched doorways, the alcoves ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you for sharing. Lovely.

I think it's stunning. What pretty light your dining room receives, and what a good color is that Eyjafjallajokull Ash. And all of those doors? Intriguing. I am trying to guess what each one leads to.

So impressed. I would only enjoy painting the alcoves...wait, perhaps I'd only enjoy painting one.
And everytime I get a glimpse of your house my heart races a little - in that totally creepy stalkerish way you fear.
But all that work, and all that plastic and covering stuff and having things in the wrong place? Neck itching.

Long time reader, first time commenter. The Behr paint with the primer is BRILLIANT. Also, the 1 inch Purdy brush is what you need. No need to tape with that sucker.

I found paint that has primer built in - it's worth it! Behr makes it (Home Depot).
I'm glad my guest room is painted - I feel so much better about it!
(Or were you trying to pass as K.?)
