It doesn't look easy. At all!

The first thing I thought of was that I hoped you had found some Great Big Movie List somewhere on the web and copied and pasted what you've seen. Either way, I'm impressed.

Oh... Since having children, I've never seen the end of a movie. If I sit still that long I fall asleep!

I thought the same thing - it doesn't look easy in the least. I'm wondering how you did it too. Free association - just writing down any one that came to mind? Or working off another list - which would totally overwhelm me as I can barely stand to go through the free movie list in the On Demand menu.

I'm very impressed! I find myself searching the list for The Secret of Roan Inish--that strikes me as a very You movie.

Waking Ned Devine--the old Irish lottery-winning guy movie. I like this sort of list much better.
I have seen just about 25% of the same movies as you. I was surprised to see some musicals on there. I think #52 with the welder/dancer was Flashdance.

The Hub and I often quote City Slickers when one of us is off to do something fun, alone, if we have been cranky. "I'm going to go find my smile" and our all-time favorite....Hellooooooo,Moooooooo.

Did you like Frida?

I was just coming by because I was so jealous that you called Mary. And here's this list. Do you have OCD or too much time? Don't call. We would just enable each other.

Oh no! It took me ages just to scroll through to the end - I can't even imagine how long it to you to type.

Any time you want me to polish your crown - just whistle.

15 and 245 are the same.
174 is Salma Hayek.
What no Fiddler on the Roof?

K
64 is As Good as it Gets.

Impressive List.
Okay - so you are Amazing!

I did notice that You've Got Mail is in your list twice, but that's really okay because it's WONDERFUL (and for many years it was actually my life - the children's bookstore part, not the Tom Hanks part.)

I didn't see Truly, Madly, Deeply on your list and I'm sure that you will love it. Directed by the amazing, and so sadly recently departed Anthony Minghella - his first I think - with Juliet Stephenson and the MIRACULOUS Alan Rickman. It is neither gory horror movie or musical - just the sweetest, funniest most charming british love story ever!

Impressive both the list AND that you left comments open

One question where is Love Actually

I write about Love Actually from time to time so I didn't include it.
Put it in one of the places where I doubled up...

Hehe I scrolled down to see if you left comments open :) You're too funny.

Is that Christmas one with Nicolas Cage and Thea Leoni Family Man?? Cause if it is I LOVED that movie,

And I have not seen many of these :)

Some of those you must have dug deep to dredge from your memory (ELEPHANT WALK!?).

I love your list, and I admire your fortitude. I doubt I could do this. Maybe if I had a week or so with nothing else AT ALL going on... but I digress. Your movie viewing? So similar to mine. We're at least a 75% match--I am also a fan of the oldies (Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House! Squee!) but I was surprised to see no Doris Day movies listed. I'd have pegged you as a Pillow Talk fan.

37. Family man, ho cute was that?
52. Flashdance. A movie of my young days...
64. As good as it gets. I loved it.
102. City of Angels. Nice.
103. Proof of life? With Russel Crowe?
149. Message in a bottle. Sad and beautiful
174. After the Sunset. With Salma Hayek. Great one.
These movies I have seen them all but not all the 250 you have, I don't think.
You must have seriously worked at this list.

That Kevin Costner one with the dead wife had a dragonfly theme throughout didn't it?

138 was called Hook.

You would love Truly Madly Deeply. It's a little dated to look at, but gorgeous nonetheless.
