That's stunning, bb!

The wrapping is so beautiful that if I were her, I'd have a hard time dismantling it to get to what's inside!

You and yours have out Martha Stewarted yourselves again! This probably isn't the time to confess that I simply plop gifts into paper gift bags from Sam's Club.

You seem to be navigating the teenage boyfriend/girlfriend thing with much more grace than I am. Maybe because it's your second go 'round?

Maybe I should sign up for your small "advice giving" business! My closets could use some help, too.

Are there any spare spaces for bird girlfriends? I know that I am a little too old (sadly) but I would like to recommmend MissM who is very susceptible to beautiful packaging.

The ribbon is beautiful. But I don't understand how you tied it so prettily. It's 2 ribbons, right? God, I'm a dork.

yes but do we like her?

I can't quite get my head around the whole adolescent girlfriend/boyfriend thing as I went to an all-girl school and was such a good Christian girl any emotions I had for the opposite sex were quickly sent to the prayer box for God to give me the strength to not have such impure thoughts.

So as a parent I have no idea how I'm going to cope with such events. And with Felix the thinker-with-the-big-blue-eyes I somehow know I'm not going to be able to avoid it. The thing that gets me is - how much do you invest in these young women who come into your life for perhaps not very long at all. Although I can't really imagine Felix having anything regarded as fleeting.

Gosh, that was all a bit deep wasn't it. I put it down to the three hours of sleep.
That is a stunning package. Your sons may be the only young men I can think of who care about the appearance of the gifts they give.

So, are they born on the same day?
I won't tell you how gorgeous the package is, I refuse.

How wonderful! If the mom of my highschool boyfriend had given me a birthday gift like that, I'd have fallen into a dead swoon of shock.

OMG. That makes the newspaper-wrapped-with-duct-tape package my stepsons did last year even sadder than it was.

I wish I were kidding about that.

So? Did she like it? Inquiring minds...

Did she like it? And I hope she unwrapped it very carefully to appreciate the beauty of the wrap job.

Agh! I can't believe I missed this. I've been holed up in the basement sewing for Christmas. I knew those stickers would be put to good use!

Wow. Why didn't I have boyfriends like that? Do tell, how did you raise such a wonderful young man?? I NEED to know.
might I add...? said…
Yes, bb, please do tell...what's your secret? I hope I can raise my son to have such finesse. LOVE the wrapping. Gorgeous choice of paper...what excellent taste! Sweet!
