Okay. Just to be CLEAR, I did not say that "White & Nerdy" was the quintessential Weird Al song, a'ight? I said it was the one with which my kid is currently obsessed and that I can't get it out of my head because of that.
i saw the first video on my scrolldown, and was going to recommend the second, which is THE video of choice. it's got a chant, for fucksake. everything's better with a chant, eh?*
second place goes to http://youtube.com/watch?v=r41U_T7pQjQ

My kids have the MOST difficult time believing ANYTHING they listen to might have just been around when *I* was their age. We are going to SEE WEIRD AL NEXT WEEK!! I am not sure who is more excited... me or my kids!My son got to go see him while on vacation this summer with a friends family and he has worn out his White and Nerdy tshirt. I guess we will be buying another one next week.
The grown men in the audience singing along without a grain of shame and indeed with more than an ounce of earnestness are the best part of this. Particulary the guy with the very neat mullet.

Who knew this would turn into a MEME?
The internet is weird.
Constipated is probably their favorite, though...

Can anyone help but smile with this music?
My children have never heard of Weird Al.
I'm the white and nerdy Backstreet Boys/Ebay/Weird Al geek.
Which is why these Star Wars ones don't work for me. I pretty much lost interest in Star Wars when Harrison Ford stopped being in the movies.
