Impossible to drive in.

Picture 3

Not very warm, I would suppose.

Picture 4

Navy - and I rarely wear navy.
Unlined, but with wonderful details.

Picture 5

Terribly expensive.(why is everything I like three hundred dollars?)

Picture 2

I can't help it.
I love it.

I do like it but it looks like my mother's nursing school cape.

Not so good for driving, but so very cute for sauntering!

My policy is and always has been - get it home. If you love something, get it home and worry about the rest later.

Go for it. It's adorable. And very sartorialiste, if you know what I mean (and I think you do). Also I think you could quickly get to love navy.

Oh, that is exactly like the cape I was issued with when I started my nurse training in 1981. I have to admit it was lovely to wear and very warm on the way home after an 11 hour night shift.

I have a similar cape to that in red that I bought in the Marks and Spencer Sale for £35.00. I love it, I have to say they arent that warm though.

But, but, it would look so FABULOUS on you! I love it, too!!!!
You could rewrite this, call it "blackbird needs a new cape," saying that if we each give you a dollar, you will buy the cape and model it for us...

Oh, dear. I believe I said some disparaging things about this once...I do tend to have foot in mouth disease on a regular basis.

I'm sure you'd look adorable in this poncho...and nothing like a woman detective on BBC.
