show and tell: my eye

You must know that I am not crazy about this...
there is just no way that I'm going all SPT on you guys.
A request, from someone nice, prompted me. I thought I might do it with my sunglasses on, I tried all different angles, expressions, and even had Youngest take a picture one day when I was in tears - but, in the end, I just went with what I've got -

The window to my soul.
Or not.
My left eye is near sighted, my right? far sighted.
I wear progressive lenses and Oliver Peoples frames.
Sometimes I have a professional wax my brows. But not always. I am beginning to think it is a waste of money.
I cry easily.
I have allergies.
I have an astigmatism.
I wear prescription (Persol) sunglasses. A lot.
I do not have a terribly difficult time looking people in the eye.
Mine are green.
