show and tell: your computer
Boring?
Perhaps.
But I am hoping that it will be fun to see people's computers in situ, as it were.
I love looking into people's homes and lives, that's one of the reasons I started show and tell.
We actually have a few computers, I am embarrassed to say.
Middle has a set up in the basement. For the music business.

The old family G4 is hooked up to this stuff...

for the recording of this stuff...

He and his brother have released two cds together and Middle is always down there fussing with things.
Around the corner, sort of, K has the set up we call the big guy.

A G5. With programs and gajillioin hard drives that I don't know the name of on it.
I am always startled by the size of the screens.
Since christmas, when the big boys got video iPods, there is always someone down there, downloading music or video - hence the stacks of cds.
Middle and Youngest take turns playing World Of Warcraft here and K edits from time to time.
I have the new baby.
An iBook G4.
12 inch.
And I love it.

And a couple of weeks ago, I used a gift card that I got from my MIL and bought this!

It's a funky crewel embroidered tote that my laptop fits inside perfectly.
Leave a comment if I can go look at your computer, please --
and feel free to include accessories!

But now, I'm thoroughly embarassed of my tote bag, because it isn't nearly as adorable as yours is. And I was previously so proud!
Anyway, my camera is charging its stupid batteries, and I'll go up tonight.

Can I tell you how envious I am that you have Anthropologie over there? I still dream about my visit to the Santa Monica store 7 years ago.
