Middle in Vegas/me at Ikea
He went shooting, I went shopping.
(Yes, there was a big fire at The Cosmopolitan. But Middle was safe and sound at The Mandarin.)

Said he shot better than anyone else.
Meanwhile, I shopped better than anyone else. Not. Maybe.
Youngest and I walked around Ikea for a while. He did the cinnamon bun challenge (he ate three) and we tested and touched all kinds of things.
Youngest is very tactile and fell in love with this bathmat. (Did not purchase.)
My home is not unlike my wardrobe - kinda dark...but I love this laundry basket/bucket thing.

It's just a little too big to put our shoes in near the kitchen door. (Did not purchase.)
We were big fans of these chaises.

(Did not purchase.)
Sock monkey portraits!

I like my welcome mats like I like my sailor shirts - striped.

Nope. Did. Not. Buy.
I reallyreallyreally like that hanging-cloth-lamp-thing in the middle. It's TWENTY BUCKS.
I didn't buy it, but I MIGHT.

I fell in love with a seven hundred dollar microwave!
And this entire bed!

...And now, a special treat.
Here's Youngest telling me about Henry David Thoreau who made his mother do his laundry.
Fascinating, no?
And here he is demonstrating one Ikea's most expensive items: the self-raising/lowering standing desk.

At home?
Our fabulously expensive Viking refrigerator was failing. FAILING.
(We may have fixed it - we may have to buy a new, normal refrigerator.)
Back on the Adventure Ride?
Middle goes star watching at midnight.

I really love the ceiling fixture and may buy it for Master Buxom's room. (It would complement the peeling plaster on his ceiling, and sadly, I am not joking.)
Those stars. Incredible.
