the internet is a vast and varied space

I spend a lot of time resting. I've got no idea how long it takes to recover from an accident of this nature but I still need to rest after a few hours up/out.
I sit with the MacBook Air (so nice and light) provided by my employer and scout around the web.
Here's what I spied this week:

I go to Professional Physical Therapy a couple of times a week. First, the wonderfully adorable fellow at the front desk checks me in, then I get a nice finger massage, and then I do exercises. So far so good. (On Thursday, two guys near me were comparing/bragging about their injuries when my therapist pointed out that hand injuries are the most difficult to treat/endure/recover from).

Here's a lovely little movie about my beloved Maira Kalman.

Isn't this a good idea?

Oldest makes me crazy with updates on the next Star Wars movies. His birthday is in August.

I'm kind of into tassels right now.

How could I NOT adore these?

Youngest got me the very last Baggu Duck Bag in Sailor Stripe in the WHOLE WORLD.

I love Food52 and I love linen.

Is one of my favorite shows really fake?!

Dinner convo: isn't funny that they use smoke to calm bees down? Do bees have a heart?

Finally, I must recommend that you watch this, which I would write a two minute movie review of but typing with only four fingers is tiring. I will simply comment as K suggests: parfait!

We have an AMAZING therapist here, I'm going in an hour to treat my arm, I don't know what I did but it's been 3 weeks I almost couldn't lift it anymore. Anyway, she's THE therapist.
I stumbled upon that movie a week ago or so ... oui, parfait!

So fake. Friends of ours had their condo featured on an episode of HH, that had already sold. They just needed a third place to feature, the couple had already purchased the house they "chose" on the show.

I KNEW that show was fake. Just KNEW it.
Those bags! That linen! As ever, your taste is exquisite.
Glad to read PT is starting well for you.

I always look forward to going with my daughter to PT, the cast of characters there...omg. It's bittersweet when they graduate.
Oh! Thank you thank you for the Maira movie. You have made my ....summer!
