shopping with Angie, in pictures

It's only been a couple of days, but Angie and I (and my mom on day one) have covered a lot of ground.
Shortly after her arrival at my house, mom picked us up and off we went to a thrift shop housed in a former supermarket. It's huge. HUGE. We took our time browsing, piled some things in a cart and mom and I scored a couple of successful purchases. There were some things we left behind, though, that were notable.

We saw a wonderful variety of paintings. Angie mentioned that her son had purchased some thrifted painting and added monsters to them and gave them as gifts. A capital idea, I thought, and we found some wonderful candidates....

Bigfoot lurking near this cozy cabin?

Someone peering over this young man's shoulder?

A lovely formal portrait, don't you think?

If I was still six, this would hold great appeal for me.

Those LiveStrong bracelets aren't as popular as they used to be.

What is it about unicorns?

How wonderful is this one?

Tempting, but not purchased.

Finally, I did think Middle should have this hat

but he has no place (but his head) to put it.
Alas.

The next day we were off to Fishes Eddy and ABC Carpet and were both amazed and amused.

Beautiful things on the mezzanine.

Wonderfully funny things across the street.

All in all a lovely day.
No, I cannot fix that photo of the mug. Damned flickr.
