hither and yon

There's lots to do before we can leave town.
I should wash the sheer curtains in the living room. I'm staring at them now and they're filthy looking. (I am fairly certain it's soot from the fireplace last winter.)
Ah, well, there's always next week/month/winter.
We're gathering beach house staples to bring with us, so K went to the liquor store while I visited Anthropologie.
This was one of those visits where I wanted everything in the store.

We're supposed to layer these sparkly necklaces.

I read it on a little sign.

 Sigh. Want.

Most beautiful scarf/necklace combo in the world.
Generally speaking.

 Want!

Sweetest, most expensive dish towel ever.

I got what I needed and took my place on line...and then I remembered that I broke up with Anthro a while ago.
Maybe a couple of visits a year will do.

On the way home we stopped at the new butcher shop.

I forgot something about the new butcher shop too...

Everyone at the new butcher's is in a good mood.

Final thoughts:

Sure-fire way to find a missing item? (In this case, K's tape measure, gone for months)

That dishtowel!! Might have to put that on a project list. Not sure where I'll find that perfect air mail bias edging though. No red, white and blue striped fabric in my stash.
