color me disappointed

I wasn't rushing out to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - and NOW?

Now that I've researched and learned that both movies were written by the same guy?

Wow! Plus, I heard BB is 3 hours long... I just can't sit for a 3 hour movie.

Perhaps I'll wait for the DVD. I saw Gran Torino today...Clint Eastwood at his most curmudgeonly.

Yep, I am just not interested. Never was.

Doubt on the other had was great! If you like plays, you'll love it. I saw it on Broadway and it was wonderful.

I've never seen Forest Gump either and was only marginally interested in Benjamin Button. It's on my list too, now. Next to Titanic and Shawshank Redemption.

I could not cope with Forrest Gump. So I won't put myself throught that.

it's based on an F Scott Fitzgerald novel and I have a serious case crush on F. Scott so I've been looking forward to it. Hopefully knowing that a there's a Tom Hanks connection won't spoil it for me!

That is totally bizarre. Did they think that no one would notice? Now I have to see it just to connect all the dots! But I will probably wait until I can get it on Netflix.

Yeah. Since Forrest Gump is on my list of "movies I hated that other people liked," I'll have no problem skipping Benjamin Button. Didn't look too attractive anyhow. What is wrong with people, anyway?

I loved Forrest Gump, but mostly because I had a girl crush on Jenny. RWP is so gorgeous and she played a glamorous 70s druggie like nobody's business. And I too love FSF's work, but also haven't been able to muster up any excitement over watching TCCoBB.
Wait. I thought the BB story was a F Scott Fitzgerald story? So that basically means the script writer has plagiarised it completely (for Forrest Gump) and as a populace no one noticed until now?

God, we are as dumb as politicians and multinationals hope we are.

Either that or Forrest Gump is to BB what Bridget Jones Diary is to Pride and Prejudice.

I'd rather watch Brad Pitt on a motorcycle than Tom Hanks at a bus stop. And there's Cate to look at, too! Still, I'll wait for the DVD for my eye candy.
