off like a dirty shirt

Do people really say that?
Well, I do - and I am...Youngest and I leave this morning for the Cape.
The house we are staying in doesn't have internet and I haven't decided what to do about posting.

Everything is packed.

I need to stop thinking so much and just drive.

I'll talk to you later.

Just enjoy - we will still be here waiting patiently on the doorstep when you get back to Tuvalu.

My dad has always said that, and I picked it up to use as well. Looks like the good old sayings are still moving along.

Have a good trip.

Ah...yes...an Aussie version of that would be "Off like a bucket of prawns in the sun."

Have fun and don't fret about the internet. Enjoy your unplugged moments.

Have fun, yes, but find yourself an Internet cafe and check in with us at least once or twice. You know you want to.

Wishing you safe travels :)

How funny that my youngest actually asked me two nights ago if we could go back to the Cape this week. I wish we could've! Have a fantastic time. and can't wait to see some pictures.

Dude! Bon voyage!

(I am TRYING to like Vampire Weekend, I swear I am. They have some catchy tunes -- just TRY to get "Oxford Comma" out of your head! just try! -- but something about them bugs me.)
