waa lah

Can you believe it?

I can't believe it.

It's done.

At some point, midway through the third ring of painting hell, Youngest came home and said: thank you, that's just how I wanted it to look.

Thank god he said that - I was just thinking he could suddenly decide he wanted blue.

I loved your Cloverfield backstory. xo

He wouldn't dare. He's seen that flinty look in your eye, and he knows what it means.

What a cool room! It's so very fresh and bright.

I love that he's 13 and still has a big floppy-eared stuffed animal on his bed. :)

So, when are you going to get started on that hallway? {ducking and running away....}

Wow - the first picture especially looks like something out of a catalog or something - so inviting, and charming.
Nice job. And I recognized the "window painting" from his art class.

Oh bb what an accomplishment for you. I would have left it half way through or got in the professionals.

What a beautiful nest you have created for your Youngest.

It looks just fantastic! What a great spot for a desk...I could work there all day. Is that a "cheat" I see sitting in the chair? On sheepskin, no less? I will have to ask my youngest if it's "a" cheat, or "the" cheat. Lucky creature, whoever he is.

What a charming room! It looks staged--like the magazine rooms, BB. You have a gift!

The neatness of the room is even more breathtaking than your paintwork! Brava!

Well, it's just gorgeous and I love everything about it. It must feel so different to him after having the stained paneling.

And that Tuvaluan light streaming in through the windows...there is just something about it.

Thanks for showing us.

The painting she is beautifully clean and light, a perfect background for Youngest's next few years. Oh, did I mention that the entire interior of our house needs painting? ::ducks and runs::

He's not only blessed with good taste - he's clever as well.
"Mom, it's great" and he lives to see another day.

I am so proud of you, on both counts.

The room.
And hallway.
