it's only Thursday

In an attempt to be less DEEP, emotionally, I am going to be all things physical today.
Don't kid yourself. We're not talking about exercising here.
I'm going shopping. At the restaurant supply store. And then I'm doing laundry because SOMEONE mentioned socks and underwear (disobeying all proper sentence structure here) and then I MIGHT help out in the yard. MIGHT. I don't really enjoy helping in the yard so I MIGHT vacuum instead.

So. To review: being less INTENSE today.

Survivor is on tonight and I'm having K make me a nice pork roast.

Your mention of yard work suggests that Spring has arrived in Tuvalu?
whOO, whOO!

While all our snow in our back yard is gone, it's still too cold to do yard work, And I think there is still snow in our front yard. lol.

Vacuum??? what's that?

Yum. Pork roast. I imagine you're a little exhausted after yesterday. Doing so much good can sap you emotionally. Enjoy your show tonight, you earned that and so much more. (A decadent dessert and nice glass of wine with a foot massage, K?)

So, it's now 3:30 p.m. and I'm dying to know...

What was your weapon of choice:

A) Rake

B) Vacuum

C) None of the above because you found something WAY more fun to do.

(Pick C, pick C!)
Pork roast and a good reality show (good I said - not crappy like so many of them are) - my idea of a perfect night.

Goodness, you never strike me as intense. But then, I've never met you. Really, even when you think you're being too intense your writing still embodies the lovely lightness of a, well, blackbird.

Ooooo, I love restaurant supply stores! When we moved last summer, I got rid of all my silly kitchen gadgets but I'm well on my way to replacing every single one and then some. With even more intensely industrial-quality stuff.

Hope you had fun!

Since I like yard work and hate cleaning house, maybe we can work out a deal (though the commute would be something of a challenge).

The bag inside my vacuum actually EXPLODED this morning from the dust filled within.
That's how much I am in love with it-
And it wasn't even me using it...
