we now resume our normal posting

Well.
That was an interesting break from my normal posting routine.
It was a great exercise in creativity, this last week or so, and I had great fun planning and executing it all.
As the days passed I considered so many things - in life as well as on the blog.
I thought about posting my Survivor post written in rice, I debated defacing walls in my home, I've been on ladders and hanging out of windows. My world has been visually based for a couple of weeks - it was fun.

Meanwhile, life moves apace. Everyone is well and busy. Busy and well.

Oldest spent time away in the mountains and adored it.
Middle continues to make short films and enjoy his photography class.
Youngest is doing well and is spending time with his 'girlfriend.'
K is busy with meetings and a few little shoots. He built us an amazing cold frame for our rosemary bushes.

As for me, I'm enjoying the third anniversary of my blog. I've loved just about every minute of it, made dozens of friends and have even been lucky enough to meet some of them.
I'm always busy thinking of posts or recounting our days or taking crazy pictures and I love it all.

Thank YOU for all those wonderful posts that have made me laugh and for the ones that have made me think. And for the energy that you give to Blogland. And for your friendship because everyone who visits chezbird is made to feel like a cherished guest - it is a great gift.
Ah! I'm such the newbee in blogland! Thanks for sharing your work. You are so breezy and expressive.

Yay, you're back! As much as I was thrilled and impressed by your visual creativity, I must say that I did begin to miss your words. I think you have a possible career there at some point, though -- cards maybe?

Happy anniversary, blackbird! I remember the first time you ever left a comment on my blog. I appreciate you for many reasons. Aw shucks I'm embarrassed. I will send you a private fan letter.

I've appreciated your blogging immensely. I tune in pretty much every day and have found some new blogs to read via yours. But yours is the only one I read every day. Your voice is very clear and relaxed, without affection, and you're really funny and clever sometimes. I, for one, am glad you do this the way that you do.

Robin
Thank you for the photos. And, welcome back to writing.

The photos are great, I like all of them. There is an artist in Australia who said the best thing she ever did was give birth to her art agent. Maybe Middle will make a film of your blog?

I really enjoyed the photo posts. Reminds me of some of the guerilla art from Keri Smith ( the wish jar.) Have you been channeling her lately?

I meant affectation, not affection.
