a note regarding Goodreads

I am perfectly happy to add you /make you my friend on Goodreads, but I have a startling confession to make: I don't read.
I mean, I read sometimes, but not with any regularity, so I won't have any updates over there.

So, you all, go ahead, read your little heads off...but I don't really have anything to add.

I think you're my official first girl crush ever.

You and I can just sit on the sidelines and be like those irritating people who talk through movies. I'm blaming Angie, in that she invited me and what with my inability to say no coupled with my fear of being left out there was no way I couldn't join. That and the site is quite pretty.

And I've got a very very small hope that it might make me start reading again.

isn't it funny that my first reaction to this post was, "I do love you, bbird." and that everyone else had the exact same reaction?

Like I said, I already have trouble keeping up with the posts...but I admire people who read a book in one day.

I read surprisingly little myself. We can watch everyone else consume literature with awe.

I got snagged in the goodreads thing. Someone sent it ( as they do by just clicking send and it goes off to everyone in their address book) without even knowing it. Or is that just me who didn't know that

So I filled out the very few books I have ever read in my near 30 years of life, and that was it. Thought I was done. Then I keep getting all these emails that this person and that has joined and look what they've read.. And I'm just sitting here thinking... what is this, why am I getting these emails.

So i just delete them and go on my way. Now to try and figure out how to get out of that whole mess!

oh.. hi blackbird :) I'm finally back from all our vacationing and just trying to get all caught up on your blog. My I have been away for a long time!
