held longer

<span class=

Sometimes this is what it feels like at my house.
Our notes are held longer.
Worry, fear and anxiety held by some of us.
Patience, practicality, and confidence held by others.
We pause indefinitely, thinking, waiting - for better or worse.

That's what it feels like right now and why I've sounded stressed.
But, in fact, we are quite well.
And nothing is really worse than it was before this post.
We are still waiting on lots of things.
K has finally had a conversation with the fellow he's been needing to talk to and that particular position will take more time.

What to do while we figure it out?
Talk to tons of people -
AND GO TO ITALY AND HAVE A NICE TIME.

Thanks for all of your good wishes - they are truly appreciated.

You never know what's next, and that's not always bad.
Optimism. Is. Key.

You will have a wonderful time. Italy is my favorite place on earth. Have a glass of wine for me. Can't wait to see your pictures.

When I was in college and a geeky music major, my favorite T-shirt said "Hold me- I'm a fermata".

Can't wait to see the photos and such of your trip. I'm not sure when you leave, but Bon Voyage (or whatever the equivalent is in Italian)!

I am glad to hear that something is at least moving for K.
A "fermata" is a must right now I guess.
It's "Buon Viaggio".

Sending you blessings and good thoughts.

You sound calm, which is good. If I were about to go off to Italy with my honey, I'd be a whirling dervish of activity and stress.

"Worry, fear and anxiety held by some of us"

Something I'm all too familiar with. Italy seems like a perfect med (medication).

My geeky humour here --- "Oh, *that*'s why Fermata's Last Theorem took so long to prove"....

Have a ball in Italy!
