on attitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.

We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.

Nice sentiments; who are Charles Swindoll and Ali Edwards?

Pick up a shell for me on the Cape.

I have always believed this with my whole heart. I just hope my one string sounds like air G...

I have a t-shirt with "Attitude is everything" on it. #1 son disagreed with it. Although technically he is right, he will someday come to realize the truth of it.

I couldn't agree more!

Attitude can make the difference between a horrible day (or event) and a hilarious day. As long as I can maintain my sense of humor and joke about the difficulties, I know I'll be all right.

It's when I'm not even able to laugh that I know I'm in trouble.

Thanks for having such a great attitude yourself, bb! And sharing with it with the rest of the internets!

I was going to go all insane on your ass for quoting Chuck Swindoll, kindly evangelist, and then I realized I was thinking of Chuck Colson, Watergate conspiratorist. If that's even a word.

Sorry bout your week. This is turning out to be the longest summer vacation on record, and it just started.

This was a good thing for me to read today. Simple things are so easy to forget.
