Yeah! Happy 16th!

Is this the age for a driver's license in Tuvalu?

How wonderful that you can say such amazing things about one of your boys. I can only hope and wish that my children continue to grow into personalities that I can brag about!

Happy Birthday - oh, and drivers of Tuvalu BEWARE!!

My nephew just turned 17 last month. He's now over 6 feet tall, and towers over me. Which is unbelievable.

I held him the day he was born. I was 17 at the time...and I thought I knew EVERYTHING back then.

Which, honestly, I may have.

Happy, happy birthday to Middle--Hope it's a great one...

Happy Birthday to Middle!

My first thought? DRIVING AGE.
Yipes!

You guys are lucky to have him. And I suspect he is lucky to have you guys.

Oh my - Sixteen was so fun, so hard, so tormented, so carefree.

Middle sounds like a wonderful man, a wonderful friend. I look forward to having (oh please let me have) such a relationship with my children. It's clear how much you enjoy his individual nature. Good job to you, bb, for raising such a man.

Buon Compleanno, Medio!
Boy, sweet sixteen...how many sweet memories.
You are very lucky to have eachother and actually enjoy eachother as you do.
Piercing blue eyes...my weakness, I admit.

Driver's licenses and teenagers. A subject for quite a few posts, I'm sure. One of us here is all sorts of excited about getting a learner's permit over the Vacation. Two of us are not.

Quite a nice photo tribute to your Middle.

Middle is 16, woo hoo! (Well, every one else said Happy Birthday, I couldn't just copy them...)

Maybe Blogger will publish the comment before he turns 17...

Sto Lat! (Which is Polish for 100 years, and a very birthday wish.)

I love your relationship with your son. It makes me look forward to my kids' teenage years.

I know what you mean about how a teenage boy can be your best companion -- my 17-yo son (the ADD one who absolutely drove me NUTS at age 10 or so) is such a fun person to be around now.
